ENHANCED LIVING PROGRAMS

Residential Programs
We currently operate 12 licensed group homes serving 72 clients with, including one nursing home for clients in fragile health.
The six clients who live in each of our homes learn the skills needed to get along and collaborate with one another, to cooperate in the same kinds of ways any family must cooperate in order to live in harmony. Training is provided in the areas of self-help, taking care of personal needs, communication and socialization, individual and interpersonal problem solving, and independent living skills. Diversified recreational and leisure activities are provided in response to client needs and requests, including frequent community outings.
Our goal is for our residents to achieve a greater sense of independence and autonomy through their interactions with their housemates and the training and mentoring provided by staff.
Supported Living
Clients who desire to live in the community in a home or apartment of their own are assisted in selecting a residence of their choice and provided whatever services and supports they may need in order to successfully live on their own. Clients are referred to the Supported Living Program through the North Los Angeles County Regional Center -- NLACRC
Supported Living serves as a critical link in the continuum of the residential services we offer by enabling individuals to transition from our group homes into living in the community when they have acquired the skills, confidence, and desire to live on their own with our help and support.
